  • Properly code and document for complex patients
  • Apply the deletions, additions and changes of CPT 2009, ICD-9, E&M and HCPCS

Pediatric Pearls: Functional/Non-Organic Pain
This one-day conference should be attended by any health care provider interested in learning more about pain management. Each topic in the morning session will address appropriate history, physical exam and laboratory evaluation to give a diagnosis of “functional/non-organic” pain. Red flags will be identified to alert the practitioner to organic etiologies of pain.

ROUNDS

Grand Rounds
All Grand Rounds are held in Bigler Auditorium at Children's Memorial Hospital. Surgical grand rounds begin at 7:30 a.m. and medical grand rounds at 8 a.m., unless otherwise noted.

Warren Wright Adolescent Center Lectures
Lectures are held on Friday afternoons from NOON to 1:30PM. We will not be serving lunch for the lectures held at NMH, however you are very welcome to bring your own lunch. A buffet luncheon is served for lectures being held at Children's Memorial prior to the lecture from 11:30AM to NOON. Firm Rounds
Firm Rounds meets the 1st through the 4th Tuesday of each month; M&M Conferences meet on 5th Tuesdays.

The Brain Tumor Board meets every Thursday from 3 – 5 p.m.

Tumor Board
The Tumor Board meets every Friday from 1:30–2:30 p.m.
