Children with special health care needs (Illinois Title V Program)
The Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) is the Illinois Title V Program for Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) administered through the University of Illinois at Chicago. With a network of 13 Regional Offices throughout the state of Illinois, DSCC provides care coordination and financial assistance for eligible families. Care coordination consists of helping families access the pediatric specialty services that their child needs and finding potential financial resources to pay for those services.
DSCC works closely with Children's Memorial, which provides medical services to many DSCC clients. On the first and third Wednesdays of each month, DSCC operates a Satellite Office at Children's Memorial Hospital in the main lobby. If you have any questions or would like additional information about our program, visit our Children's Memorial Hospital Satellite Office or telephone the DSCC Central Office at 1.800.322.DSCC(3722); also visit our web site at http://www.uic.edu/hsc/dscc.
