Getting to and from the airports
There are several ground transportation options, in addition to hailing a cab, to get to and from Chicago's two main airports. Some suggestions are listed here; please contact the services directly for reservations, costs and schedules.
O'Hare International Airport
- Ride Airport Express to your destination. These shuttles serve most major Chicago hotels but do not stop directly at the main hospital.
- Take a Blue Line CTA train to your destination. To take the CTA Blue Line train directly to the main hospital, exit at the California and Fullerton stop. Then take a taxi from that stop to the main hospital, 707 W. Fullerton Ave. (just east of the intersection of Lincoln and Halsted).
Midway International Airport
- Ride Airport Express to your destination. The shuttles serve most major Chicago hotels but do not stop directly at the main hospital.
- Take an Orange Line CTA train to your destination. To take the CTA Orange Line train directly to the main hospital, exit at the Clark and Lake stop. Then transfer to either the CTA Brown Line (north to Kimball) or CTA Red Line (north to Howard) and exit at Fullerton. Walk east on Fullerton about 1/2 mile to the main hospital, 707 W. Fullerton Ave. (just east of the intersection of Lincoln and Halsted).
