Clergy collaboration
The hospital's community advocacy includes important partnerships with churches and the faith community. These collaborations address multiple health and safety issues including newborn and adolescent HIV prevention, car seat and bicycle safety, handgun violence, sickle cell anemia blood donations, obesity prevention and positive youth development.
Linkages include churches on the near north side, south and west sides of Chicago that serve diverse ethnic, racial and socio-economic communities.
