Look who's new on staff

Dr. Lee Bass Lee Bass, MD, joined the Division of Gastroenterology in July. Bass recently finished his fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Children's Memorial and currently sees patients in Lincoln Park and Arlington Heights. His special interests include gastroesophageal reflux, cholestatic liver disease, primary sclerosing cholangitis with inflammatory bowel disease, autoimmune hepatitis, and liver transplantation.
Dr. Jennifer Rubin Jennifer Rubin, MD, joined the Division of Neurology in July. Rubin recently finished her fellowship in Pediatric Neurology at Children's Memorial. She sees patients in Lincoln Park, Glenview and Arlington Heights. Her special interests include demyelinating diseases and general neurology.

Look what's new at Children's Memorial

Outpatient Center opens in Lake Forest: Appointment times for Endocrinology and Pediatric Surgery are available, with more services to be added in the coming months, KIDS DOC continues to schedule appointments for Cardiology and Urology at 900 Westmoreland, Suite 110A. For more information, call the VIP Physician Hotline at 1.800.540.4131. Parents can call 1.800.KIDS DOC or visit KIDS DOC to request first-time appointments.

Appointments now accepted for blood draws: In an effort to reduce patient wait times and expedite service, Children's Memorial now offers appointments for laboratory services. Effective July 21st, parents can call 1.800.KIDS.DOC to request an appointment for patient blood draws. Demographic and insurance information can be collected to help streamline the process once the patient arrives. Scheduling of appointments will also help to ensure that enough laboratory staff is available to serve patients in a timely manner.

New referral toolkits distributed: Dedicated to partnering with you to provide the best possible specialty care for your patients, our recently distributed toolkits feature a new combination of tools for practices and families to help navigate the Children's Memorial Health System.
